首先，我们向外教介绍了中秋节的来历、点花灯的习俗、嫦娥奔月与后羿射日的传说以及各种传统与现代月饼的分类。 

   We firstly gave a brief introduction of the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival, especially the  beautiful myth called Chang E flies to the Moon.Then various ways of celebrations like eating mooncakes, appreciating the moon,puting up lanterns and guessing lantern riddles were also introduced to the teachers.The last was an introduction of different styles of mooncakes such as Cantonese style mooncake and Suzhou style mooncake ect.

    紧接着，糕点师傅一边示范，外教一边模仿—掌心处揉面、虎口处包馅、沾点干粉、放入模具、按压成形、再小心翼翼地从模具推出，集颜值与美味于一体的广式月饼就做好了。外教对月饼的制作方法、馅料口味、图案汉字含义表现出极大的兴趣，糕点师傅耐心细致地讲解了各种馅料的由来和口感。外教们对新鲜出炉的月饼赞不绝口。最后，大家用精美纸盒装着亲手制作的月饼，结束了这次中秋文化体验之旅。

    And we made Cantonese style mooncake withred bean paste, lotus seed paste and egg yolk today. Look at the beautiful and charming baker Jenny. She was there demonstrating how to make mooncake. What about foreign teachers? They were carefully learning by imitation. First, they kneaded the dough, then placed the red bean paste inside, wrapped and sealed with the dough disc, next they placed the stuffed mooncake into the mould, lightly pressing the mould handle.Finally they removed the mooncake from the mould.How delicate and delicious the mooncakes looked! Foreign teachers showed great interest in the way the mooncake was made, the flavour of the fillings and the look of the Chinese characters and patterns. At this, Baker Jenny patiently gave detailed explanation about how the fillings were made and how they tasted. Teachers were also surprised at the mooncakes made by themselves that they started to sing praises of them. At the end of the activity, everyone was full of excitement, packing their own self-made mooncakes into exquisitely designed paper bags.
