Before making the window blossoms, we made a brief introduction about it's culture, such as the history, significance and patterns. The first step is to choose the pattern we like and then cut the pattern model by scissors. The second step is to fold the red paper according to the pattern requirement. The last step is to fix the pattern model on the folded red paper, and cut the red paper along the model's shape. After finishing the paper-cut and unfolding the red paper, you will find the nice window blossoms.

The activity of cutting window blossoms helped foreign teachers understand the customs of Chinese Spring Festival and the charm of Chinese traditional culture. At the same time, it also created more opportunities for communication.
