2023 Sensational Mid-Autumn Gala

The Mid-Autumn festival celebration on the evening of September 16th was a memorable "Harmonious Melody of Autumn" shared amongst over 30 foreign teachers.
Mooncakes
Firstly, everyone participated in making of egg yolk mooncakes. This is not only a process of learning how to make mooncakes, but also a way to strengthen the understanding of traditional Chinese customs among foreign friends. Foreign teachers had deepened their friendship through mutual help and assistance.
Buffet
Continuing with the DIY mooncake, everyone found joy in tasting exquisite dishes at the banquet. Laughter filled the air when they savored a variety of meticulously prepared Chinese and Western cuisine. As the most direct bridge for cultural exchange, the diverse dishes allowed them to experience the fusion of Chinese and Western culinary cultures.
Games
Subsequently, there were traditional hoop throwing and exciting tug-of-war. These two challenging games created more happy atmosphere and meanwhile reflected spirit of team cooperation.
Performances
Next came a relaxed and energetic party. The opening program "Monkey Makes Havoc in Heaven", as a characteristic classic image in Chinese classical novels, quickly attracted the attention of the audience with the phrase "An Lao Sun Lai Ye", and everyone watched it with great interest.
Our foreign teachers also added color to this evening party through various performances such as singing, dancing, playing the guitar and playing the trombone. The rich and diverse Chinese and Western performances allowed everyone to feel the charm of Chinese and Western culture.
Just like an ancient Chinese poem says, the moon was rising from the sea and all the people were sharing this moment.
This activity enhanced the recognition and love of foreign teachers for Chinese traditional culture and traditional festivals, carried forward national culture, and let foreign teachers feel warm and joy.
